We are seeking a highly qualified Electrical Engineer for a contract position focused and knowledgeable on power system design, Installation and Maintenance. Versatile with SEL& Multiline relay programming for onshore and offshore power grids. The role involves the provide technical SME knowledge, programming skills, and commissioning of protection and control systems using SEL relays, candidates must have strong English proficiency, excellent communication skills at all levels and be prepared to work on multicultural environment with flexible schedule.

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Power System Design &, Maintenance:
- Responsible person for the electrical power grid systems for onshore and offshore, including the custodian of the ETAP power system simulation of single-line diagrams and wiring schematics.
- Perform load flow analysis, short circuit studies, and relay coordination for power systems.
- Provide Electrical installation and maintenance quality control and quality assurance support.
- Provide technical support and manage Electrical turn Around projects.
- Specify and configure protection systems using SEL relays for power distribution and industrial facilities Power Management System.
Relay Programming and Configuration:
- Capable to Program and configure SEL relays for protection and control applications.
- Implement and test relay protection logic for overcurrent, differential, voltage protection, and other systems.
- Commission and troubleshoot relay systems using test equipment such as Omicron or Doble.
System Integration and Communication:
- Configure communication protocols (DNP3, Modbus, IEC 61850) for integration with SCADA systems and RTUs.
- Ensure proper communication setup and troubleshooting between onshore and offshore facilities Power Management System.
- Develop HMI systems and interfaces for real-time system monitoring and control.
Field Support and Commissioning (Onshore/Offshore):
- Provide on-site support for system installation, testing, and commissioning in both onshore and offshore locations.
- Conduct and support relay testing, system troubleshooting, and maintenance during commissioning of electrical projects.
- Ensure compliance with Electrical safety standards such as NFPA 70E or equivalent.
- Ensure compliance with Electrical installation and maintenance standards such as NFPA 70, API 14F or equivalent.
- Ensure compliance with Electrical maintenance standards such as NFPA 70B, NETA/MTS or equivalent.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and system analysis reports.
- Ensure designs meet industry standards (IEEE, IEC) and company specific standards.
- Support project handovers and ensure all system documentation is complete and accurate.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in power system design, Maintenance and relay programming.
- Proven experience in maintenance of electrical power system in the oil & Gas industry & practices.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using SEL AcSELerator QuickSet or equivalent software for relay programming.
- Strong knowledge of electrical Power grid maintenance .
- Experience with SCADA, RTUs, and communication protocols (DNP3, Modbus, IEC 61850).
- Familiarity with power system analysis tools (ETAP, SKM, EasyPower).
Language:
- English proficiency required for effective communication across project teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Experience working in remote, onshore, and offshore environments.
- Familiarity with offshore safety protocols and regulations.
Working Conditions:
- Contract: Yearly contract with potential for renewal based on project needs and performance.
- Rotational Shifts: 10 weeks on, 3 week off, with 10-hour workdays.
