We are looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant for an internal position at Paragon.
This will be a staff position and will be 100% remote- Preference for those located in the UK, US or UAE
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Upstream Oil & Gas recruitment preferably with Operators and E&P companies in the Middle East and Africa.
Ideally candidates will have experience of 360 recruitment and have experience recruiting for drilling, subsurface, Technical and Non- technical engineering, or support functions.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant specializing in the upstream oil and gas sector, with a focus on Exploration & Production (E&P) and operating companies in the Middle East and Africa. This role demands a proactive recruitment professional with a proven track record in business development and the ability to source and attract top-tier talent in this niche market. Candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience in this field.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job brief and sourcing through to offer negotiation and onboarding, for roles within E&P and operating companies.
Business Development: Proactively develop and expand client relationships within the upstream oil and gas sector, focusing on key markets in the Middle East and Africa. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with E&P and operating companies.
TalentAcquisition: Source, screen, and engage with high-calibre candidates across technical, managerial, and executive positions relevant to upstream oil and gas.
MarketExpertise: Maintain a deep understanding of trends, skill demands, and industry developments in the oil and gas sector, specifically in the Middle East and West Africa.
ClientRelationshipManagement: Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on talent strategies, market intelligence, and recruitment best practices.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience in the upstream oil and gas sector, specifically with E&P or operating companies.
BusinessDevelopment: Demonstrated success in business development, client acquisition, and revenue growth.
IndustryKnowledge: In-depth understanding of the upstream oil and gas sector in the Middle East and Africa.
LanguageSkills: Must be a fluent English speaker and additional proficiency in French or Arabic is a beneficial but not absolutely necessary.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across different levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree is desirable.
